Please join us for the IDEA Curriculum Fair at The Carlson Center in Fairbanks on Friday and Saturday, April 15-16, 2005!
Schedule of Events, Friday:
9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. ~ Keynote Breakfast with Joyce Herzog at the Carlson Center, $10 pre-pay, $12 at door
Purchase tickets at the Fairbanks Office, 2157 Van Horn Rd., 374-2200
11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. ~ Exhibit Hall open in the arena
11:00 a.m. - 5:45 p.m. ~ Workshops in the North Star Room, Pioneer Room, and Prow Room
Exhibit hall and workshops free to IDEA families, $20/person (spouses free) for those not in IDEA
Schedule of Events, Saturday:
10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. ~ Exhibit Hall open in the arena
10:00 a.m. - 2:15 p.m. ~ Workshops in the North Star Room, Pioneer Room, and Prow Room
Exhibit hall and workshops free to IDEA families, $20/person (spouses free) for those not in IDEA,
free for those who paid the first day and return with their nametag from Monday
Parking:
There is plenty of free parking at The Carlson Center.
Meals:
Food will be available at the concession stand in the Exhibit Hall. Lunch meals will be less than $10. No food may be brought into the Carlson Center.

Driving directions
from Fairbanks airport:
From AIRPORT to the REGENCY Hotel:
Exit airport – You will be on Airport Way
You will pass Pike’s Landing and Pike’s Riverfront Lodge on your left
Just after that on your right take the “S. Fairbanks” exit
You will be on the Mitchell Expwy. Follow the Mitchell until it ends (about 5 miles). Stay to the left. You will exit onto the Steese Expwy going to Fairbanks.
Stay on that for about 2 miles you will go through one major light/intersection. Keep going. The next light after that is 10th St make a LEFT on 10th.
The Regency is there on the corner of 10th and Steese.
From REGENCY to the CARLSON CENTER
Turn RIGHT onto 10th from the Regency parking lot.
Take 10th to a right onto STEESE Expressway
The next intersection/light is Airport Way stay on the right OFF RAMP to turn RIGHT onto AIRPORT WAY.
Take Airport Way about 2 miles just past McDonald’s (on the right) to
A right onto WILBUR. Follow Wilbur. It dead-ends at The Carlson Center.
From CARLSON CENTER to REGENCY
Take Wilbur back down to Airport Way. Turn left onto Airport.
Follow Airport to the big intersection of: Steese Exprwy, turn LEFT onto Steese. The next light/intersection is 10th. The Regency is there on the corner of 10th and Steese.
From REGENCY to the AIRPORT
Turn RIGHT onto 10th from the Regency parking lot.
Take 10th to a right onto STEESE Expressway
The next intersection/light is Airport Way stay on the right OFF RAMP to turn RIGHT onto AIRPORT WAY.
Take Airport Way about 5 miles to the Airport where it ends.
